This Privacy Policy applies to Cozy Corner - Focus & Ambience, package name com.atomocomwell.cozycorner.

Cozy Corner is a focus timer and ambience app. It lets you choose a room, play calming ambience, run focus sessions, receive optional session notifications, and review gentle progress statistics.

2. Short summary

The app stores focus history and preferences locally on your device so core app features can work.

3. Data handled by the app

Cozy Corner stores the following information locally on your device:

• Focus session history: session start time, local calendar date, focused minutes, and selected room identifier.
• Local preferences: last selected duration, last used room, volume level, background ambience setting, notification prompt state, active session state, and pending completion state.
• Progress summaries: daily and weekly focus totals calculated from local focus session history.

This local data is used to run the timer, restore active sessions, show completion summaries, remember your preferences, and display your local insights.

4. Data collection, advertising, and sharing

Cozy Corner does not transmit your focus history, room choices, timer settings, or progress statistics to Atomocomwell.

Advertising partners may receive or process ad-related data such as device identifiers, approximate device information, ad interactions, and diagnostics as needed to request, deliver, measure, and limit ads.

If you choose to email Atomocomwell for support, your email address and message content will be received and used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain support records.

5. Permissions

Cozy Corner may request or use the following Android permissions:

• Foreground service and media playback: used to keep ambience playback and the active focus session working while the app is in use or in the background.
• Notifications: optional permission used to show session-related reminders or completion notifications. You can disable notifications in Android settings.
• Vibration: used for completion feedback when a focus session ends.

Cozy Corner does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, phone, or external storage permissions.

6. Third-party services and SDKs

Cozy Corner includes third-party advertising SDKs or services. These providers may process ad-related data under their own privacy policies and platform requirements.

Cozy Corner uses Android platform and AndroidX libraries to provide local storage, media playback, notifications, and user interface features.

7. Security

Focus history and app preferences are stored in the app's local Android storage area. Other apps normally cannot access this storage through standard Android sandboxing.

Because the current release does not upload your focus history or preferences to Atomocomwell, there is no routine server transmission of this app data.

8. Retention and deletion

Local focus history and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear the app's local data through Android system settings.

Cozy Corner also includes a Clear local data option in app settings. This removes focus history and resets local preferences on your device. If a focus session is currently active, the app may ask you to end that session first.

Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support history, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

9. Account deletion

Cozy Corner does not currently provide user accounts. Because there is no Cozy Corner account, there is no account deletion flow. You can remove local app data by using the in-app clear data option, uninstalling the app, or clearing app data in Android settings.

10. Children's privacy

Cozy Corner is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support email, contact Atomocomwell so the information can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.

11. Changes to this policy

Atomocomwell may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, operational, or platform requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
